Home Inspection - Continuing Ed

In the state of Massachusetts Licensed Home Inspectors are required, as a condition of license renewal, to complete a minimum of 24 contact hours of continuing education per continuing education period, which is 24 months. The Massachusetts State Board of Registration of Home Inspectors approves this course for 4 CEU's. Fee includes seminar and certificate of attendance. Topics will vary each semester. Fall 2010 topic-In Your Seat Feild Trip-In this series of lectures, Bob has selected recent actual homes inspected and has taken numerous extra photos for an “In Your Seat Field Trip” experience. Radiology Certification For Dental Assts

This course has been approved by the Massachusetts Board of Dental Examiners. It is available to dental auxiliary who have had at least two years of experience in the dental office or by permission of the instructor. This course will cover: radiation safety; principles of x-radiation; components of the x-ray tube; description of paralleling technique; anatomical landmarks; exposure and processing pitfalls; and special patient problems and alternate techniques. In the laboratory, each student will complete a full-mouth series of x-rays on a mannequin using the paralleling technique.
